To
effectively relay God’s truth to all people using the fine
arts:
drama, music, human video and
more.
TCOC
Fine Arts endeavors to stir
the souls
and lift the spirits of God's people, ultimately, bringing them into
direct connection with the presence of the Lord. There are
opportunities for all ages, children through adult, to find an avenue
in which to creatively worship. Some of the Fine Arts expressions
include: the worship band, ensemble, studio media, dance
arts, drama teams, and casts, stage set artists, and light &
sound crews for annual or special event musicals and dramatic
productions, as well as, writing projects, interior design, and
decorating groups for special events and building and grounds visuals.
Annual
Fine Arts production
scripts are original works by Pastor Jeff
Williams. Other written materials at TCOC originate from the hearts and
pens of the church staff and members. TCOC also takes part in in Fine
Arts competitions with other churches throughout the North Texas
District AOG.
Developing
people with a passion for 'the arts,' the TCOC staff and leadership
welcome new participants and fresh ideas. Commitment is at the core of
every Fine Arts participant complimented with flexibility which
provides room for individual and group growth, both spirituality and as
a means of church expansion.
A
highly qualified mix of amateurs and professionals with the Christ
like goal of "aiming for perfection," the TCOC Fine Arts participants
focus their energies on others rather than self by directing their
thoughts on ministering an experience to audiences verses a performance
DLD2
or “Dance Like David Danced” is a dance team developed out of
the Catalyst Youth Group. Using today’s style of movement (including
hip hop, street dance, break dance, etc) we minister God’s Word and
principles through dancing and dramatizing the lyrics of songs. The age
limits are the same as Catalyst (12 – 18 years). We perform
periodically for the Catalyst Youth Service and also the adult services
at TCOC. Practices are specified Saturdays. Please call the church
