TheChurchOfCorinth believes in ministering to the entire family.

Goal: to empower & equip kids to make a difference at home, school & the community!

The EleVation Crew provide an exciting worship opportunity for children in grades 1-6 during our regular church services on Saturday night and Sunday Morning. The children in EleVation participate in an age-appropriate worship service, with skits, object lessons, games, a prize store, puppets, and much, much more!

 

UpComing eVents:

Parents Night Out: March 12th from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the church. Dinner will be served, ages 3-12 are welcome to attend. It will cost $5 a child.

Lunch with Ms. Allison: March 21st at McDonald's in Hickory Creek from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

JBQ District Championships: March 26th and 27th.

Garage Sale: BGMC Fundraiser, March 26th and 27th; we are accepting donations, please see Ms. Allison for details.

Kids Fine Arts: April 10th, Trinity Church in Cedar Hill.

J.U.M.P.
Jesus Understands My Praise

At TCOC we believe that our kids are not "the church of the future", but rather "the church of today". They have a need to worship and get to know Jesus just like adults, and J.U.M.P. was created to meet this need for kids age 4 through Kindergarten. J.U.M.P. - Jesus Understands My Praise - is targeted to the needs of younger kids. Each week, along with activities and games, we memorize scripture, learn more about Jesus, and grow in faith. We even participate in missions activities. Jump on over and give us a visit!

Blaze: Christian Education for Kids

God has a plan and a divine destiny for all of our children. It’s our desire here at TCOC to teach them the Word of God in such a way that they would cherish it in their lives forever.

BLAZE offers a fun, loving, educational opportunity for our kids to “dive” into the Bible. We pray that each Wednesday the kids become inspired to live a “blazing” life; to be a light everywhere they go.

BLAZE offers age-appropriate classes for children of all ages and is available on the church property from 7:00—8:30 p.m. each Wednesday evening. Parents are encouraged to drop their children off at 7:00 and head to the Home Group of their choice. It’s a wonderful opportunity for the entire family to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ!

We offer the following classes:

Flicker: 0 to 2
Spark: 2s and 3s
Flare: 4s and 5s preK/Kindergarten
Flame: 1st and 2nd Grade
Fire: 3rd and 4th Grade
Torch: 5th and 6th Grade

Junior Bible Quiz (JBQ) was created and designed to help children develop a love for the Bible and an understanding that its truth can guide their lives daily. Junior Bible Quiz offers a fun, exciting way to motivate children to understand the all-important truths in God’s Word. Through cooperative learning, children work together on teams to learn and understand the questions and answers from the Bible Fact-Pak. Then using cooperative competition the children meet with other teams for a fun quizzing match. There are twenty questions in a match, with two teams of quizzers trying to beat each other to the buzzers to get the first shot at the answers. It has been said that JBQ is the fastest growing discipleship program in children’s ministry.

JBQ is open to kids in grades 1-6.
