TLC is getting a makeover! We have changed the logo, hopefully adding just the right touch to reach women like you. This year is going to be a year of harvest at TCOC, so we plan to do our part, as women, to minister to each other’s needs and reach beyond our walls to the women of our community. Women Ministering to Women, our new slogan, encompasses many opportunities for women to connect. This e-newsletter, for example, is one way we plan to keep you connected with the other women of TLC and the activities of this ministry. Our hope is that you will build a stronger relationship with God, your family and with your church making a way for others to know Christ to the fullest. |

Ministry Highlight for the Month: “Money for Missions” |
|
“Money for Missions” is one of the avenues we use to help reach the world around us. Each year we set a goal to give toward district efforts in the North Texas District of the Assemblies of God. As we give, we help further the cause of Christ while assisting the efforts and needs of missionaries at home and abroad. In particular, the North Texas Women’s Ministries Department helps missionaries set up their households on the mission field, provides gifts for inmates of Texas women’s prisons, provides for the needs of Pleasant Hill Children’s Home, and much, much more. Your giving goes a long way in the kingdom of God. In 2005 alone, the North Texas Women’s Ministry and Missionettes (a program for young girls) gave over $2 million in cash and cash value gifts. This year The Ladies of Corinth helped by giving $2680! If we all give $10/month we can help North Texas continue this awesome ministry. If you have a heart for missions and would like to give on a regular basis—just mark a TCOC envelope “Money for Missions” and place it in the regular Sunday offering. |
